A doula provides emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. A midwife is a medical professional who provides clinical care. Doulas do not deliver babies but support you and your birth team so you feel confident and cared for throughout the process.
Birth is a sacred journey designed by God, and having a doula by your side offers Christ-centered support every step of the way. A doula provides emotional, physical, and informational care—helping you feel prepared, empowered, and anchored in peace. Whether you’re welcoming your baby at home or in a hospital, with or without medication, a doula helps you make informed choices that align with your values while reminding you of the God-given strength within you. You were never meant to walk this path alone—and with a doula, you don’t have to.
The sooner the better! Many families hire a doula in the first or second trimester so we can begin building a relationship, but I also accept late-term clients when I have availability.
My faith in Christ shapes everything I do. I offer prayer (if desired), Christ-centered encouragement, and support rooted in the belief that birth is part of God’s beautiful design for motherhood. Psalm 139:13-14

staying as close to your birthing plan as possible.
Placenta encapsulation is the process of preparing your placenta into capsules that may help support postpartum recovery. Many women report improved mood, energy, and milk supply. I’ve safely served families with this service for over 10 years.
Absolutely! One visit is included in the doula package I would love to help you settle into your new role, help with daily chores or errands, and
support you through the changes. I’d be happy to do dishes, laundry, light cleaning, light
shopping, massaging, bathing, or watching the baby so that you can do it yourself if you
Prefer. These must be scheduled before 6 weeks postpartum. Additional visits are available for a fee.
Long births may require some short breaks for bathroom, food, or rest. Remember that
those supporting the mother need to take care of themselves to better take care of her!
For births lasting 12 hours or longer, we will assess the situation and call the backup doula so they are prepared to come in should they be needed.
Yes, I have several I can contact if I need to but I specifically only take one client a month to prevent this from happening. So unless I have an emergency, I will be there.
Yes! I offer postpartum doula support and guidance to help with newborn care, emotional transition, and feeding—whether you choose to breastfeed or bottle-feed.
Yes, I am on call 24/7 for your birth starting at 38 weeks (or earlier for high-risk clients). I stay with you throughout active labor and at least 2 hours after baby arrives.
Absolutely! My goal is to support the entire family. I help partners feel confident and involved in the birth process, not replaced.
